I've been viewing on the ol' YouTube various videos on the new Pebble Flow travel trailer. My first impression is that it’s a fantastic prototype. The Silicon Valley designers have used their imagination and understanding of cutting edge technology to create a truly imaginative product. FYI: The travel trailer depicted in the gorgeous photos is a preproduction model.
That said, the Pebble Flow (PF) is definitely designed for the upscale glamper. Apparently, the PF will be priced well beyond $110,000 (more for the EV version). For all this tech, it appears to be well worth it. What do you think?
Personally, I can do without the expensive LED windows, automatically deployed stabilizers and such. I feel that the Indiana RV manufacturers could (RV MSRPs are typically almost double wholesale) make a budget option. My ideas include considering basic hub motors, generic lithium battery packs and dropping it all in their usual RV infrastructure.
My favorite PF gizmo is the parking remote control. Yesterday, after winterizing my travel trailer at an RV park. I placed it back carefully in my storage unit parking spot. I admit I am one of the worst persons on the planet at backing up my 24 foot RV. It took me a good half hour to do the job. Like I said, I love the remote control parking idea. Can I retrofit my Rockwood Mini Lite? It'll probably cost $40,000. Thanks for your support.
